will i be considered an international student?

i am a US citizen attending a boarding school outside the US. I am applying for undergraduate studies in the US for Fall 2008.
will i be considered an international student
[1] for purposes of admission
[2] for purposes of financial aid/scholarships?

if you are a US citizen, you apply as a US student regardless of where you attend school. That is also the case for financial aid. As far as scholarships, check the fine print -- some are only available for students attending school in the US and others may require you to attend an interview weekend/semi-finalist weekend that you can't attend if you are at school outside the US.

Where are you going to school?

NO you won't!

i am going to school at Woodstock in Musoorie, India

You are not an international student if you have U.S. citizenship, but live overseas. If you look at the admissions section of college websites, some have admissions counselors whose geographical area covers Americans living overseas.

My daughter has lived overseas, just graduated from an American school in Asia and received financial aid.
