Will I be happy at dickinson?

@iwearthecheese, your description of the experience you have had so far matches very closely the experience my D1 had (Dickinson grad from a few years ago). Glad to hear that it is going well for you!

I got in Early Action for International Business! Your response has made me reconsider Dickinson. Like you, I considered other schools more competitive, but I think I need to give Dickinson another shot. Now I am just waiting to hear back from Franklin and Marshall, Lehigh, Bucknell, Gettysburg, Northeastern, BC, BU, Georgetown, GWU, and American!

You mentioned that you got a big scholarship from Dickinson. I assume you mean merit and not need based. Franklin & Marshall does not give need based scholarships (but maybe you mean that you got need-based financial aid, I couldn’t tell from your other posts).

Yeah, you should definitely consider Dickinson as a serious choice. I didn’t initially want to go here - I only went on a a tour after I got accepted because my parents made me! I’m so glad they did, because my experience so far has been amazing. I believe International Business is the most popular major, especially since about 10% of the student body is made up of international students.

I was talking about merit aid. They initially gave me $80,000. After I decided to go, they reviewed my application again, saw that I was interested in life sciences, and gave me another $3,000 for me to use to fund independent research.

I was wondering about @Lana22’s aid (mentioned on another thread, I think).
