Hi I'm a senior at my highschool ill have precalculus, chemistry 2, and DC credit physics completed. will this have me prepared enough to go into college planing on majoring in chemE? I really wanted to take calculus but I didn't have enough room in classes :(, but will all these classes be enough for me? Btw I have a 94 in precalculus and a 98 in chem 2 and will be taking physics next semester. Thanks for anyone that repleys to this :).

You should be fine. Some schools, mine in particular require you to be taking Calc 3 by your 2nd semester of freshman year but for others you’ll be taking Calc 1 when they expect you to be taking it, 1st semester of freshman year. So worst case scenario you’ll have to take Calc 1 over the summer or Calc 2 during the winter to catch up if you’re required to be in Calc 3 by 2nd semester of freshman year.

You’ll probably be ok

What is Chem 2 in highschool? I can’t imagine it’s the same as Chem 2 in college right?

No its not the same as chem 2 in college. Its more like chem 1 in college cause I teacher just teaches us what general chemistry 1 is in college. Except there’s not many students in the class so I’m sure its a lot easier to learn the material and plus we are in that class 5 times a week and pretty much an hour and a half each day so you have more time to learn the material

Study in the summer break before the college semester. Buy the textbook at the beginning of the summer, and study and read it over the summer. It will give you a big advantage in classes.

Okay will do thanks :)
