Okay, about a month ago, I filled out my application. Then, I realized there was a $55 fee and I never paid it, nor did I send a transcript or official ACT scores.

Now, I'm wondering if I do all of that if I will get anything with my stats. I realize tuition is already low, but Honors/Scholars program or maybe a token scholarship would be nice.

Below are my stats:

32 ACT (33 Math, 32 English)
2100 SAT (670 CR, 680 M, 750 W)

3.65 GPA. We don't do weighted.

Horrible SAT II's

Top 20%

AP World - 3
AP Gov't - 4
APUSH - 4
AP Hum. Geo. - 5

World and Geo were self-study

Nice long list of random EC's. I love them all dearly.

You’d definitely have a shot for Honors. From what I hear, they mostly consider test scores, and I’ve seen people with 32s get into Honors already. Get that application finished!

I hope you got you app in by the Dec 15 date. I would say you will amost certainly (99%) get some scholarship. Decent shot (60-80%) at Honors too depending on which school . You may have to wait for the Honors/Scholarship right up to March though.

I hope you finished your application by the priority deadline. If you did, I’d say it’s likely you’ll get both scholarships and acceptance to the honors program. I had a 32 on the ACT, a 3.96 unweighted GPA, as well as APs and extracurriculars, and I received two scholarships from the U of M as well as acceptance into the honors program. I know a lot of kids in the honors program who have ACT scores lower than mine, but I also know a lot of kids from my high school who had ACT scores similar to mine who were not accepted into honors which, if I had to guess, was because they applied very very late. Best of luck to you!!!
