Will I have what it takes to be a junior transfer?

I now know that I will be attending Northampton Community College in Bethlehem Township, PA this fall. I think I made the right decision because I now have the chance to re-apply to the schools that turned me down (Maryland and Penn State-University Park. I was accepted into Penn State-Altoona, however) and apply to schools where I had little to no chance of acceptance (UNC-Chapel Hill, UVA, USC). Here's some basic info about NCC and what I plan to do there:

-Northampton Community College is a top 50 CC nationally
-I was accepted into their honors program, which requires me to take 12 credit hours of honors courses and maintain at least a 3.5 GPA (I plan on maintaining a 3.7+ GPA).
-If I do maintain that 3.5+ GPA, I have a really good chance of joining Phi Theta Kappa.
-I plan on participating in several on-campus activities, including Student Government.
-Since NCC has dorms, I will be staying on campus.
-I am a SMaRT Scholar, which is a scholarship program funded by the National Science Foundation for select students entering STEM professions. I was one of only 18 students, out of 15,000 undergrads, chosen to receive this scholarship and all the extra benefits that come along with it.

More info about me:
-HS GPA: 3.8 UW
-SAT: 1570/2400 superscored SAT (CR: 620, M: 440, W: 510)
-Tons of EC's
-Black, first-gen male
-PA resident
-Work experience: POS Associate (Cashier) at Kohl's from 10/25/12-Present (I will end it on 8/18/13 due to my move to college)

Can you see me realistically being accepted into UNC-Chapel Hill for fall transfer admission?

It all really depends on who you are competing against. Many people forget that almost everyone thinks that they have something that sets them apart from everyone else. I am not saying that what you have done is not special or diminish your accomplishments, its that most others also have similar achievements and it boils down to do you have enough to set yourself apart from them. It is a crap shoot and a lot of it is up to luck. You seem to have what it takes but that does not guarantee anything. Apply and you will find out one way or another.

When you apply as a Junior transfer you don’t need to submit your SAT scores which will work in your advantage. Do well at Northhampton, stay active in EC’s, and maintain over a 3.5 GPA and you’ll have a good chance at getting in.

Thanks for your responses everyone! I have the utmost confidence that I can become a Tarheel in 2015!
