Will I make it?

<p>Hi, this is my first post, but I've been lurking for a while. I'm planning on majoring in Engineering, and I would like to have your thoughts on my chances. Anyway, here are my stats:</p>

UC-Berkeley
Northwestern
Duke

Columbia</p>

<p>I'd love the opportunity to go to HYPS, but I don't think I have the credentials to do so.</p>

<p>I’m pretty sure you can get into any of the schools you listed. You have a very impressive record. If you really want to try for HYPS, then go ahead! There’s no harm in trying.</p>

<p>Thank you for the kind words. My biggest concerns are my GPA and EC’s. In my Freshman and Sophomore year, I got a mix of A’s and B’s because I was still adapting to the high school environment. Thankfully, I got my act together and did well in my Junior year. The problem with my EC’s is that I have not done anything notable, such as starting a community service project or winning a nationally recognized award.</p>

You have amazing APs. for course rigor that is a huge plus.</p>
