Hi I'm currently a junior who is very concerned about my GPA. Junior first semester was a very tough year because I had so many things that affected my grades drastically. I couldn't handle myself and I couldn't keep things on track. I'm not a student who's like that but things happened. I am currently doing my best to get the best grades as I can. Currently, my dream school is Cornell. Right now, I have weighted GPA of 3.87 but my current GPA (1st semester of junior year) is 3.71.

Currently, I'm taking two AP classes (AP US History and AP Microeconomics and AP Macroeconomics) but I will be taking three exams next May.

I don't know whether it's impossible for me to even try for Cornell. But my advantage is that I do much better in 2nd semester from 1st semester. Looking back to my freshman year and sophomore year, I always did much better in 2nd semesters.

I would like to know if applying for Cornell is just going to be unrealistic. I am considering to write ED for this school. But it would be great if anyone can help me out here. Thank you! :)
