I’m applying to a few UC schools and I signed up to take the ACT with writing (2nd time, 1st time was June 10) on October 28, 2017. Will my scores make it by the November 30 deadline? Let’s say it doesn’t…will this affect my application? Also, the UCs require that all ACT scores be sent but there isn’t an option to send all scores. Would we just have to send the scores individually?
Actually the ACT website tells you when they are available and since most are sent electronically they should be available to UC at the same time.
The UC’s application deadline is not the ACT or SAT test submission deadline. You can provide test scores through December and UCs actually accept the December test dates.
ACT, unlike SAT which will send all scores it has for you in one order, requires a separate order to send each test that you have taken and thus you have to pay multiple times to send multiple tests to a college. Nevertheless, be aware that the UCs “all scores” rule applies to SATs not ACTs. You can choose to send only one official ACT test even though you have taken more than one.
