Will my admissions from UNC-Chapel Hill be likely recinded(transfer)?

I am in my 4th semester at another school and before this, I had only 2 B’s and the rest A’s. However, due to my ADHD (which I can provide documentation for) my grades have severly dropped as this is my hardest semester yet.
My current grades:

class one: W
class two: W
class three: A ( however not related to my major if I still get in)
class four: C
class five: D (however not related to my major if I still get in)

My strategies for dealing with my ADHD which work, but only to a point (I am planning to provide exact reasons for grade drop in a letter of explanation) and I feel that have reached the limits of what I can do without visiting a doctor. However, I am prepared to make the necessary changes. What are my chances of my acceptance being recinded and what can I do to boost my chances of keeping it?

The general rule is to avoid D’s, F’s and felonies. The D could be an issue as could the two W’s if you didn’t inform UNC that you withdrew from two of your five classes. I would contact UNC admissions to discuss.

I don’t see how the ADHD could be used as an excuse since you were successful before this semester but again you need to discuss with UNC admissions.

yeah, I know using my ADHD as an excuse is going to be hard but that’s the reason for grade drop, it wasn’t due to laziness or lack of dedication. I have specific strategies that I use but since this semester was alot harder I found that they wern’t really adequat. If I tell them how I am planning to improve do you think I would still have a chance?

You need to ask the school.

Hope things work out for you.

I would contact them and explain. Also are you under a doctor care for ADHD? Are you on medication? If not I would definitely see your general doctor this summer before fall classes restart. UNC has an accessibility center where your register if you have a known diagnosis of certain issues (such as ADHD). It is a very good program and they offer many benefits. You can look it up on line. Not trying to be a jerk, if this semester is hard for you, then how can you handle the classes at UNC?

@GoldDust97 Don’t let anyone fill you with doubt… You were accepted into UNC because you have something to contribute on campus and they believe you can be successful there. Call the school, talk to them about this semester, and ask them if taking summer courses (and making all A’s) would be helpful.
