Will my December Scores arrive in time?

I have taken the SAT and I plan to take the SAT Subject Tests in December. I have over ten colleges I want to apply to, so to save some money I was planning to wait until after I take the Subject Tests in December, and sand all my available scores along with them, instead of sending my SAT scores now and the SAT Subject Test scores later.

However I'm worried that waiting to send my scores may reduce my chances of being admitted since the colleges will not have my scores as soon as they receive my applications. More importantly, I'm worried that if I wait to send my scores along with my December scores on the 23rd, they won't arrive in time.

Can I end all my scores along with my December 6th scores and have them arrive before the deadline without choosing rush delivery? And will waiting hurt my chances of acceptance?

If it is one of the 20 colleges that actually requires SAT subject tests, then you will be fine because all of those accept scores that arrive after the application deadline and most of them, including all the ivies, even accept the Jan SAT tests, and sending scores earlier rather than later really makes no difference. If it is one of the colleges that recommend but do not require subject tests or state that they are considered if sent, then you should check to assure that the college accepts through Dec test dates and does not expressly require scores to be in its hands by Jan 1. For most, you should be fine but there are a small number of such colleges (such as UTexas) that either require testing to be completed by Nov or specifically require scores to be in its hands by Dec 31 or Jan 1 and to assure accomplishing that you need to identify the college in your test Dec test application as one to automatically receive scores upon release. If it is a college that does not consider subject tests for admission (majority of colleges), you should send your SAT score at time of application.
