Will my math class timing hurt me?

Hey CC!

Curious- I decided to not take a math course this year (Junior) to focus on growing one of my new companies and to prepare for college apps. I took PreCalc as a Sophomore and plan to take Calc this senior fall, plus maybe Stats in the spring (college classes). So I will have a high math level and the recommended 4 years, it just won’t be done by the time I apply EA this fall. Will this hurt me if Stanford only sees my Calc class in progress at the time of applying? Or should I take a chance and do a condensed 6 week Calc course over the summer (trying to avoid that so I can have a strong foundation). I’m planning to major in Econ, so definitely not stem haha. Also- my entire course load Junior year has been college classes and honors (AP isn’t offered at my school).

Thanks!

I also forgot to mention that I’ve reached the highest level of math at my school. Pre-Calc is as high as it gets, and that will be shown in the school report my counselor sends. So Calc would be at my community college.

Another option would be to apply RD and have it on my transcript, but I’d really like to do EA if possible.

Bump
