Will online college courses help my admission chances

I have been looking into different ways to stand out on my college admissions as a homeschooled student, so I have been thinking about taking online college courses provided by study.com to increase my college chances, however, I learned that the college I want to attend( university of Georgia) doesn’t accept credit for such courses. Should I still take them to help my admission chances or would it be a waste of money?

Does you state provide any low cost dual enrollment options? My junior is doing dual enrollment (free in my state) through a community college. He is able to select online classes if he wants.

If the college doesn’t accept the credits it’s a waste. Do you have any cc’s near you? If so, I’d do the dual enrollment option.

There are community colleges that offer dual enrollment but I learned about them to late to take classes ( I will graduate high school this year). I’m taking a gap year and I was going to use the time to take online courses.
