Will online summer high school physics hurt my college admissions chances?

Hi!
I am a junior in HS right now and I am picking classes for the next year. Here is what my schedule will be:
AP Lit
AP French V
AP Stats
AP Psych
AP Bio
Honors Anatomy
Concert Band
Music Psychology

However, I want to take physics because I think it will be beneficial to me. I can’t fit it in my schedule and even if I could, per school requirements I wouldn’t be able to take AP. So, I have been looking to do physics online over the summer. The only problem is, there are no honors/AP online physics classes that are available to me this summer, only a regular physics class through TEC.

So my question is, will this look bad for college admissions because it’s not an honors/AP class? Should I just forgo physics altogether? I’m planning on majoring in psychology and applying to schools like Cornell, BC, Notre Dame, Uchicago, Skidmore. Thanks!

Taking five AP courses plus an honors course is a pretty hefty senior course-load on its own, so it definitely won’t look like you are not pushing yourself. If anything, it will look like you are putting in effort to continue your education over the summer, which looks good! Especially since you aren’t going to major in physics/engineering, I doubt it will hurt you. However, if you are still worried, you can briefly explain that there was no option to take an honors/AP online physics course in the additional information section of the Common Application.
