Will taking courses related to what you want to major in in college boost your chances?

Hello, I am a rising sophomore in high school and I want to for sure study business in college. My school offers a bunch of courses relating to economy as well. Would taking these classes and getting good grades in them boost my chances of getting into a good business school or would it not matter?

Chances of what? Lots of students seek Business as a major. Advisors may or may not know about your preference for Business. Taking some business in high school may help clarify your interests in business. However, I would not takes lots of business- related classes because it is speculative if that would help in admissions unless the college expresses interest in applicants seeking Business. It is also unlikely that classes in high school would substitute for classes in business in college.
