Just saw an interview with a college football player who signed an endorsement deal with two Nike executives (deal is not with Nike). If this is an indication of future college player interviews, get ready for repeated references to the players public websites.
Networks must be careful not to interview players who endorse an advertiser’s competition.
ISU and KU won’t increase the per team media payout to the existing Big 10 members. Same for Tx Tech & Ok State going to the Pac 12. This is all about money generated by football, and those universities don’t deliver.
ND has a commitment to the ACC. If they join any conference for football, it has to be the ACC.
Texas is not even considering the Big 10. The SEC votes tomorrow and will vote to accept Texas and Oklahoma. It’s over.
Football is all that matters in conference realignment, and even if you took the best programs from the Pac 12, Big 10 and ACC and merged them together, they would still be inferior to the SEC with Texas and Oklahoma.
