I have a single 94 in AP Psych, I should’ve studied more but didn’t, so I was wondering will HYPSM change my unweighted to below a 4.0 or no?
• If a 94 is not a 4.0 on your HS transcript, HYPSM will likely not convert it.
• HYPSM accepts students with less than a 4.0 GPA
• HYPSM rejects many 4.0/2400 applicants
• You acceptance/rejection/deferral/waitlist will not be the result of a sub-4.0 GPA
• There are many outstanding colleges other than HYPSM
OK, thank you, I was just wondering.
In my school, your 94 would be a solid A, which begs the question: how do selective colleges weigh your grades from one state to another? Is it just based on the letter grade on your transcript?
Yeah, because my counselor always says that colleges will just see the letter grade, but on our transcript it shows the number also, so I have to point it out to her every time and then she says it won’t matter, but I need evidence more than her word.
They don’t; they look at in the context of your school.
