Will USC rescind my admission?

I am a high school senior and I have been admitted to the University of Southern California for the upcoming fall. Currently, I am taking an online AP French course but there is a high probability that I may end up with a D in the class. I am extremely worried that USC will rescind my acceptance because of this one class. I have A’s and B’s in my other classes, which is standard for me. Below I have a few of the reasons why my grade got so bad:

  1. I came out of the closet to my parents and the entire experience has been stressful, distracting, and overall hard.
  2. This is the first online course I have ever taken and the new format is very foreign and difficult. Plus, its hard to get instruction or help if you don't have an actual instructor to help explain and teach you.
  3. I am in the process of publishing more research and I am very busy with that, as well as being a varsity athlete.

Overall, the class was very hard given the academic and personal circumstances. Please, let me know the chances of me being rescinded and any advice you may have. Thanks!

Likely not. It is very rare that offers of admission are rescinded.
