Hi everyone

Just wondering if anyone could help me with college choices:

international student, need very good financial aid, average ECs and very strong grades, would like a school with good literature or international studies departments (they don't offer law at undergrad level in the us right?). I would like a school that has a certain amount of prestige, but also actually offers a great education. A school with very nice down-to-earth people and lots of diversity. My interest are debating / the arts - don't like sport at all. I would like an environment in which I can work hard and focus on academics.

Schools I'm currently considering are:
Williams
Swarthmore
Duke
Princeton
Berkeley
Dartmouth
University of Pennsylvania

I know there aren't exactly any safties on that list but my current philosophy is to try for the best ones (not necessarily expect to get in) because unless I will have the opportunity to go to the best schools, I don't think it will be worth going over to the US

Could you please evaluate the list above, and add any more suggestions? (LACs in particular)

Thanks!
