Will you "make" your kids read CC?

Most of the time people tend to not know what they're talking about, but it's a good way to talk to people who have already gone through the process. Otherwise, time-waster.

Hell no I won't make them. I'm not forcing my kids to do anything, that's just stupid, because they do that to me now and I feel miserable sometimes.

but when they are in the college process, I might mention it, because this isn't a bad website at all, I've met a lot of really helpful people, and not only in college matters ya know? Plus times will change, so what I've learned now can completely change in 20 years, and so they might want more updated info that maybe I couldn't provide

its funny. Cause all you guys seem to really hate this board yet you are all posting on it. Not to mention you are all posting on college confidential CAFE. A time wasting board.

i think people are saying (or at least i am) that they have gotten sucked into CC but don't want their kids to do the same. i'm not sure if other people's parents found this site for them or what, but we know how some people on this board are and don't want to force the stress and everything onto our kids in the future

I completely agree with you, legend. :)

If I catch em wasting their time here, they'll get a taste of my leather belt, baby.

I think it has good test-taking tips
