Willamette for sciences/math?

I am extremely excited that I was accepted to Willamette and even more with a pretty generous scholarship they offered. I love everything that I’ve heard and read about the school, and the campus looks absolutely stunning. It seems like a perfect fit.

However, I’m not sure how strong the department is for may intended major(math with physics minor) and what the course offerings and research opportunities are like. Also, I’m also curious how Willamette is viewed by graduate programs. Does anyone have any experience/input on this? All answers would be extremely helpful. Thanks!

We can’t really address too many of your questions, but the Physics Department has an excellent reputation. The President of the College is an Astrophysicist. I think WU has a solid reputation across the board with grad schools but for math specifically, I can’t help you.
