Will there be something like a Facebook page for '18 ?

who usually makes those sorts of groups? students or…? if there isn’t a group soon, I say one of us should create one.

From the '17 Fb group, it seems that the admin is a student like us, and it was founded at around this time (13 Dec), so we’d better follow up.

juriya, yes send it to admissions, and if you have any contact there, anyone in admissions you met while on campus (an interviewer?), or anyone you’ve communicated with, even the person who signed the email telling you about your deferred status. Sending it to the attention of a particular person will get the most effective response, even if they pass it along. Your ACT is absolutely fine - don’t waste time trying to boost a score by a point or two - work on the things that distinguish you from the rest of the applicant pool and how to make those aspects stand out. An extra recommendation, if it’s really strong, would help…and when your mid year report is sent, your college counselor can pull for you too…and you can write a brief blurb about why you and Williams are a good match to send with your update.

When do hard-copy letters usually come out for international students?

A fixed date anyone?

Call the admissions office to see. They’re nice people. Do it quick before they go on vacation, though.
