So I requested an application fee waiver for Williams College. I didn’t qualify for a Common App fee waiver, but the only way I could justify applying to Williams was with a fee waiver. On the website, they say to request a fee waiver if applying is a financial burden. I applied with a fee waiver, but has Williams been known to revoke fee waivers at all? Is there a threshold they have to verify for financial need?
Williams does not revoke fee waivers if granted. Additionally, there is no “threshold” for financial need as every family’s financial situation is different considering combinations of wealth and income. If your family does not have measures of wealth other than your family’s home and retirement accounts, and your family income is not above 70,000 for a family of four, you will be eligible for a hefty amount of financial aid.
