Nah sorry I’m just throwing out guesses.

Haha. lol I thought Williams would release the decisions the same time as last year.

Yeah exactly, really thrown me off when I figured they would be out 4 hours ago :P.

6:03 & this site has been crashing . . .

At least Williams has updated its Admissions Page saying that they will be emailing ED notifications the evening of Thursday, December 11th

so is it 8 now?

so is it 8 now?

Accepted!

Deferred to regular decision… :/

Accepted! Glorify be to God!

how bad is getting deferred? do I have a good chance with regular decision? if they didn’t think I would get in wouldn’t they just have rejected me?

Congrats to all the new admits!

Accepted!

XC2013, were you being recruited there? You have very good stats especially for an athlete, I thought.

Sadly, I was deferred. Looks like a regular decision acceptance is not likely. Did anyone actually get a rejection letter or were they all just deferrals?

@FLWrestler123 I was not actually one of the recruits. The coach said he wanted me on the team but I’m not sure if he gave me any support. I’m pretty sure for cross country they can’t actively recruit more than a few guys. my first quarter senior grades were not so good (almost all B’s, a couple A-'s) and I wrote in the additional info section explaining that my grades dropped because I was intensely focused on my cross country season and not because of senioritis. I’m hoping they deferred me to see if I was actually telling the truth and end up getting my grades up for the first semester. But I don’t know. Also to repeat @internatindian 's question, were a lot of people deferred, or were most rejected?

@internatindian I was rejected, but I was sort of expecting it.

@058454 Are you an international student?

Nope.

I got deferred, but I’m not too worked up over it.
