Wishful whartoner...

HEY everyone soooo I am currently freaking out due to my unpreparedness towards the whole college thing…

My dream schools include Cornell, UChicago, Harvard and UPenn’s Wharton for undergraduate studies. My parent’s expectations are high as are mine, but my stats may cause me to reconsider everything. I need an outsider’s perspective to help me out…

Are you sure you want to do business? If so, what concentration(Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, etc.) if you know?

To be honest, your GPA is a little low for these schools… Cornell might be your best bet w the legacy. This combined with the fact that you have only received 4’s on all APs tells me you may not be up for the uber competitive academic classes at these schools. You might thrive better at a less intense but still rigorous school. Make sure you look at other options…

Depending on what area of business you’re looking at, there are plenty of alternatives to these universities that have similar business programs and will probably be much cheaper as well if money is an issue.

Business is my top interest at the moment, but not for sure yet… I would be looking towards concentrations such as management (entrepreneurship and innovation) or business economics

Also, just generally wondering about my chances of getting into top schools with my not so stellar stats… Also looking into mathematics…
