Wolverine Access Glitch

Hello everyone!

I logged onto my University of Michigan Wolverine Access account today and I noticed a change in my major and school. I applied to Michigan under rolling admissions on December 31, 2014. Prior to today my account said that I only applied to LSA undecided and now it has two applications present: LSA - undecided (submitted on 12/31/14) as one application and Ross School (submitted on 1/12/15) as another separate application. I was wondering if this change indicates anything about my admission decision. I realize that direct admission to the Ross school is a two step process (one must be admitted to LSA or another school prior to being reviewed for direct admission into the Ross school). Essentially, I was wondering if this change on Wolverine access from just LSA to LSA and Ross applications means that I have been accepted to LSA but they are still reviewing my Ross application.

On another note, I was also wondering if anyone knows when rolling admission applicants begin to hear their admission decision. Additionally, is the decision given via email, Wolverine Access, or etc.

Any feedback is appreciated and thank you for all of your help! Go Wolverines!

You will receive a decision on Wolverine Access and via email. Sometimes wolverine access is updated first, sometimes email comes first. It’s pretty normal, from what I’ve heard that the Ross application shows up just a bit later. UMich admissions only says by April but typically they release decisions in waves (one was yesterday) through Feb. and March.

yeah, and the Ross application showing up on WA has no meaning in terms of admissions decision…this information is coming from UM admissions themselves
