<p>I don't see any post on women's liberal arts colleges. I am sure there are many studnets who might be interested in women's colleges with strong liberal arts colleges. </p>

Also, under Colleges and Universities, CC Top Liberal Arts Colleges, schools listed include Barnard, Bryn Mawr, Mount Holyoke, Smith, and Wellesley. Under the Alphabetic listing you can find forums for several other schools, such as Mills, Simmons, & Scripps.</p>
<p>I have a D at a Women’s College. There is quite a lot of interest and discussion on CC.</p>
<p>I don’t believe there are any women’s universities in the United States, so “women’s college” implies “women’s liberal arts college.”</p>

<p>I think all five of the remaining womens’ Seven Sisters are brilliant: Mount Holyoke, Smith, Wellesley, Bryn Mawr, and Barnard. </p>
<p>I also hear wonderful things about Scripps and Simmons.</p>

I currently attend Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania and I am very happy with my decision. Bryn Mawr is one of the top liberal arts colleges in the United States! It is a small, inviting and safe environment for women who want to grow and prosper. The Colleges academic program is structured in a way that you can explore a variety of subjects at the same time. This way you can find a major you are really passionate about or make sure that the one you initially had in mind is the one you really want to pursue. Once you choose your major, you are encouraged to take courses outside of its requirements to keep enriching your learning experience.
As for your aspiration, the admissions rate to medical schools is over 75%. There are also student-run organizations and plenty of guidance for students like you who wish to go into the field of medicine.</p>

<p>A wonderful school that combines the community of a large well known University (Notre Dame) with the personal attention of a small liberal arts college. I graduated from SMC more than 20 years ago, but still consider the experiences and friendships made there to be what shaped me as a woman. Very small classes. Lots of attention from professors and advisors. Great campus ministry department. Chapels in every dorm (about 95% live on campus). Plus, the advantages of having ND across the street. Girls from SMC participate in many ND clubs and sports, including the ND Marching Band, Cheerleading/Pom Squad, Newspaper, Campus Radio Station, etc…not to mention SMC students are entitled to Notre Dame Football Student Tickets. You can take any class you want at ND, and vice versa. There is a great 3/2 Engineering Degree program with ND, but likewise, if a ND student wants a teaching certificate, they have to come to St Mary’s for all of those courses. I can’t imagine having gone anywhere else and being as happy as I was at St Mary’s.</p>

<p>As a Junior at Bryn Mawr, please consider visiting these colleges! Though all these colleges are listed under “women’s liberal art colleges”, they are very different from each other as far as the vibe they give off. What are your interests? That should help narrowing down your choices.</p>

I am a Senior at Scripps College, and it’s a really wonderful women’s college that challenges their students to their best ability while also creating a supportive and caring community. If you’re interested in a small liberal arts, women’s, college, but also may want a small atmosphere within a bigger community (The other five claremont colleges that surround scripps - Called the 5C consortium) check out Scripps.
