I'm a senior in high school, white female. I haven't taken SAT yet, but am studying and hope to get at least 1800.

GPA: around 3.5

PSAT: 1610 (didn't study)
Reading: 500
Math: 510
Writing: 600

Extracurricular/Volunteering:
-SCOR Club (Volunteer work at a farm)
-Starting an animal shelter volunteer work club at school

My concern is that I had to take special education classes during Sophomore year (due to anxiety disorder) which unfortunately were only offered at the lowest academic level. After doing better, I took regular classes again Junior year because they wouldn't let me skip a level into AP. Now at senior year, I am finally switching into AP classes. Will it look bad to have never taken AP classes until now?

Should I wait until regular application rather than early so that I have more time to build up my GPA and do more extracurricular activities?

What would you recommend I focus on to have better chances to get into WPI? Thanks!
