Okay, this might be a dumb question, but how rigid are the word count requirements for supplements? (I know the Common App has to be between 250 and 650). If a supplement questions says “answer in about 150 words” and I’m at 220, should I cut it down? Or does it not matter too much…? Thanks friends! 
I’d cut it down to closer to 150. Part of the challenge is being succinct.
