Work study and Loan questions

Hello,
I am a current college student, my parents make a combined income of 90k-100k. I have not yet filed my FAFSA for 2014-2015, would I be eligible for work study jobs?

Also, a loan question. Can I pay back my loan any time before I graduate?

Thank you.

In order to be eligible for work study jobs, you must have demonstrated need.

Whether you have demonstrated need will depend on your family’s EFC and the cost of you college. If your EFC > COA, then you won’t be eligible for work-study.

At some schools, work-study funds are limited and work-study will not awarded to all eligible students.

RE: Loans. You can begin repayment of loans before graduation.

In order to get certain federal work study funds, you have to have need which is based on the FAFSA EFC and what cost of your college is, as WayOUTWestMom has written. But some colleges do designate the term “work study” broadly enough so that those students who do not so qualify can also find campus jobs. Each school has its own rules on that, if they even have such a thing, so do check with your school.
