<p>It is interesting that Macalester assigns freshman work study jobs based on a simple employment application. No interview is required. Son got his assignment today and is quite pleased that he will be working for the athletics department as a trainer. We have no idea why he was chosen for that position, but it sounds great.</p>
<p>My son was happy to be assigned to tech support and services in the library. He assumed he’d get a cafeteria position but was delighted to receive the library position.</p>
