work study question

the work study job listings are finally up!

i have a question about the contacting-the-employer stage.
am i supposed to send a resume via email to the employer..?
if not, what kind of information should be included in the email.?
GPA? prior experience [which i have none]?

If you read my previous posts in other threads, I suggested that you do not email the supervisor yet. The reason is because some employees are too busy to read emails, and a call will reach the supervisor immediately.

My suggestion is to call the provided number (first make sure the position is still available), discuss the work you will do, and then send the resume/cover letter if requested (he/she will ask you to do so if needed).

If there is no contact number listed, THEN send an email (with resume attached) and hope for the best.

I made a mistake first year by sending mass generic emails to a lot of listings, and a lot didn't reply back. When they did, it was when the position was filled (since people called instead).

Call, go in there person. Inquire, see what the work is, you don't want to be stuck working some dumb ass job

Are they going to put up more listings? Because the list seems awfully short considering the number of people who need to claim work study...

Yeah. Jobs are constantly being posted until February (last month to get a work-study job).
