Working is hard as hell

I know i don't wanna go ta college, but i hafta, cause i don't wanna live in a cardboard box when i grow up ya know.

Well, i remember outlining the entire game plan of not going to college and trying to survive in today's society.

Search it up. It should be bumped, good topic.

I am a new member here, I've been searching the threads trying to find an answer to a perplexing issue, this one is about as close as I can get. Here's the deal: My stepdaughter is a sophmore at a private college, her midterm grades are 3 D's an F and I don't know the other 2 grades. With an overall GPA of 2.3 (before midterms) I just wonder what kind of grades she would have to get on her final exams to not go on probationary status. She has to maintain a 2.0 ... and needs a 2.5 to be accepted to a major (she has not declared yet) - I have no idea what she is doing with her time as the reason codes are poor test grades, not attending class, and failure to turn in assigments. I am baffled here, I wonder if she really doesn't want to go to college.

grandmas,
I don't know the answer to your question. It may depend on the college.

You're more likely to get answers to your post if you start another thread, which I suggest that you do on the parents' forum. Once you get to the forum, go to the "new thread' button (toward the bottom left of your screen). Make sure you create a title that tells what your post is about. Try something like "Question about academic probation."

Thank you so much Northstarmom-- I am still learning to navigate here -- old age you know!!!
