How is the workload/difficulty of the Haas School of Business compared to other programs, such as Wharton, Marshall, AEM, Ross?

In general, business classes are easy. There's not too much work. It's not as competitive as people say. The average admit has a 3.6 GPA going in, which isn't too extraordinary and the classes are very common sense based.

Finance is the "hardest" type of business class.

Getting into Haas is the hardest part--people who are in Haas say that the upper-div Haas classes they take are very, very easy.

^Yup. Getting in is the hardest. I'm not in Haas, but I took an upper div. class and a good grade came out of nowhere. I thought I was doing horrible in the class but then BAM good grade.

Getting in isn't even that hard. The prereqs are pretty easy if you have a working brain cell. And statistics 21 is pretty easy with the right professor.

It's definitely not like engineering or the hard sciences.

how hard is it for a non-haas to take business classes (accounting classes) under haas? Are they given lower priority?

Who would you say is the right prof. for Stats 21? I'm deciding whether to take that class either in fall/spring semester next school year.
