I have had a mixture of Bs and As throughout high school, but the 3rd quarter of my senior year it has turned to mostly Bs with a few Cs. I actually have real reasons as to why this happened (was very sick for a week&my fashion show left me little time), but I'm still worried that it'll cause trouble for me.

Have any of you gone to Smith even though you had a drastic change in grades like mine?

Do you think anything will happen to me?

If nothing happens to me, if I get my grades back to mostly Bs and As the 4th quarter do you think I'll be okay?

Thanks!

Do you have to send Smith your 3rd quarter grades? (My school is on a semester system, but we get quarter grades that don’t show up unless you send them to schools.) If you’re on a quarter system, and you already sent the grades, you should definitely send the admissions office an email (and I’d call, as well.) Talk to your counselor, as well. However, since you didn’t fail any classes, I’d think Smith will be pretty understanding if you explain the circumstances. :)

I think we just send out the final grades for our senior year, but I’m not sure. But thank you very much, I will do that. :]
