Worst class you've taken in HS?

other than that, I loved the class

Romance novels? I just don't want to go there, especially if any of the scenes were inspired from her own experiences...

I swear female english teachers are the horniest old women in the world

Health class would be the worst.

Teen Wellness. I hate when the school requires us to take a pointless class.

Pre-cal, because at least half of our class time is spent on nonsense bc our class is rowdy.

Spanish III, because my teacher's teaching style does not work for me at all and I still can't speak any spanish after 3 years of relatively intense homework and tests etc

Yup. Health included. Waste of a semester. It doesn't help anyway. We still have people getting pregnant, so what's the use of sex ed? No one listens.

OMG that's so ****ing true lol!!! They write good recommendation letters for me though so I guess I can deal with a little pent-up sexual frustration.

My Comp teacher last year used to be a prostitute. Our example for metaphors was also trumpets are whores.

I hate stats. Health was fun.

Algebra II Honors. It would've been better if the teacher wasn't eating chocolate chip cookies and drinking a Diet Coke at her desk during every period. That math class was literally a free block.

Government honors, Its killing me, the banal info, why can't I take AP Us again

I LOVE health class to pieces because my health teacher makes a joke of it. She has these flavored condoms and all these weird condoms and things and she just cracks jokes all block.

And about the female english teachers...definitely true although I've had all male english teachers until this year.

Honors Precalc, the teacher treats me like an idiot plus she has no clue of how to teach

We spend a whole block (90 minutes due to Block Schedueling) on something that should take 20.

Then I want your health teacher, logisticslord. Our teacher would tell us stories of safe dating, and he'd brag about being the most popular guy in his class and how even though he didn't want to, he was nice enough to dance with the "fat" girls at prom. He was a jerk.

What I like about female English teachers is that they tend to be very permissive and let you write about a wide variety of things, even if it's not quite suitable for your age (I have gotten away with this for three years now). My teacher this year liked my assignment in which I totally changed the plot of Romeo and Juliet. I added a prostitute.

freshman earth science...most pointless class ever...our "teacher" would leave up poorly written notes on the overhead for us to copy (and i mean he friggen copied a whole book worth of notes)

health was pretty pointless too..more like a freeperiod

Probably World Geography. I didn't learn anything.

Physical Education, 9th-10th grade

Life Skills (essentially Health), 9th-10th grade

Physics, 10th grade - I still regret dropping biology to take this class. (The way my HS does science classes is unusual. In 9th grade, I took chemistry, biology, and physics. In 10th grade, I took chemistry and physics. In 11th-12th grade, I'm taking IB Chemistry HL and IB Biology SL. I did get back into biology for the IB, but taking that damn physics class was such a waste of time when I could've been doing something I actually enjoyed with a teacher who, you know, actually bothered to teach.)

I've had the same math teacher for both freshman and junior years.

Freshman math with bad teacher: C+
Sophomore geometry with good teacher: solid 95% A
Junior math with bad teacher: B+

eugh.

Other than that, chem was bad but I managed a B+. Other classes have been good for the most part.

Health + Gym, as everyone else has mentioned. I think it's more of that the classes aren't restricted to honors kids, so the quality level of the class is brought down due to the peer group...? Or something.

I liked Honors Bio last year as a class, but I knew most of the material going in, which made it a bit less entertaining. Same thing with precalc/trig this year.

World Geography

Biggest room full of idiots ever. These guys were in the 9th and 10th grades, and didn't even know all the continents or oceans -_-
