I am unsure if Georgetown is within the realm of possibility given my academic stats. Opinions?

White Male
GPA: 3.9 7 APs: Bio, Calc, Stats, Lang, Lit, Gov, Enviro

SAT: CR: 760 M: 660(is this too low?, I don't have much aptitude for math)

Main EC's, other details:

Model United Nations: President, multiple awards, staffed a college conference, passion
Honorable Mention Toshiba Exploravision Contest: Genetic engineering of symbiotic organisms
1st Place, National Science League Competition (An actual national competition, seemed to easy though???)

Qualified for Teen Jeopardy- I don't know how this fits in, but it might add a little depth

Volunteered at 2 hospitals 150 hours, Food bank : 30, Misc: 20

Then a bunch of random awards and meaningless leadership positions throughout the school.

I appreciate any and all comments. Thoughts on SAT Math score?

we got the exact same sat scores! and thats actually awesome that you were on teen jeapardy, wait were you actually on it or did you just qualify? ive always wanted to try out. i dont see why you wouldnt have as good a chance as anyone else… i mean if your really worried about it just try to get your math score up. also did you take sat IIs?

I just qualified unfortunately. After you meet a certain threshold it goes to a lotto system. Do you think I would be a semi-competitive applicant if I failed to increase my math score? SAT II: 720 Lit, 700 Bio. I took the Bio one way too early, as our class hadn’t even started the human biology section. If I took the test like 2 weeks later I would have got 750+ I believe.

i’m really not an expert so i really cant say! i mean when i saw your sat scores i thought they were fine and i would definitely encourage you to apply. i mean seriously everyone this site thinks everything less than a 2300 is a disgrace. i definitely think they look at more than just your sat scores and it seems like you have really interesting ECs and everything. anyway good luck!
