Would an A- in Driver's Ed look bad?

I feel like this is one of those questions where you could only find on CC but hey, I just wanted to know. Driver's Ed is obviously an easy class and I'd expect everyone to get an A+ in it but I got an A-. For comparison, #3 in the class of 2012 got a B in the class and it's his only B. It's one of those classes that are so easy you don't try in it and then you regret it...

My scores for this year:
Driver's Ed: A-
Psychology: A
Public Speaking: A
Algebra 2+: A
AP English Language: A
AP Spanish Language: A+
Intro to Economics: A
Accelerated US History III: A
Chemistry: A-/A
Personal Finance: A+

I just don't want that to look bad... It would make it seem like I was so lazy. :p

Really? -.- Relax.

Hey now, I’m sorry that I have to worry about my grades a lot. :stuck_out_tongue:
My family is currently in the process of losing our house this month and my parents have no college diploma. I live in a racist narrow-minded small town. I had a rough school year academic-wise so I’m trying my hardest this school year. My parents don’t have enough monry for anything nowadays.

I’m sorry that I worry so much, I just want to get a good job and to make something of myself so I can support my family. I’m just trying hard academically, haha. I want to become a doctor and a biology professor because I just want to help out people. :3 I know that college is really expensive so I’m trying to keep up my grades to the best of my ability so I can get scholarships and to get accepted into good schools!

I’m sorry if that’s annoying but yeah, haha.

It will not look bad. An A- is not a bad grade in the first place, and admissions officers will not care that you got it in a “fluff” class. Rest assured, there will be no negative consequences of your grade.

lol sad…go to community college

There is no difference between an A- and an A to admissions officers

A-, seems like you failed. You’ll never be able to get into any college, even if it’s open admissions!

The very fact you’re concerned about this in the first place is sad.

Also, That’s too bad you have to waste a class during the school day for drivers ed. Ours was just after school for like 2 weeks. And it’s pass/fail, not graded

Honestly? I think they will think “what happened here?” But there’s nothing you can do about it now, so just think about the future and don’t let it happen again.

who cares? lol. stop worrying, seriously… you still passed so don’t worry about it. colleges won’t care about something that’s not even a real class

I didn’t realize people are actually graded for Driver’s Ed! At my school you have to an entirely other place and you don’t get grades at all. Just a thumbs up for getting your 30 hrs done. I honestly wouldn’t worry about it. Some people don’t have to take Driver’s Ed at all in school.

it doesn’t really matter. but i dont really see how its possible to not get 100% in drivers ed

Think before you hit Send. Chances are you should’ve been able to answer this yourself.

Yeah, kids here don’t even take Drivers Ed unless it’s a private teacher (although judging by the drivers here, most of them probably should!!).

Try harder, you shouldn’t be getting A-s in driver’s ed.
