I have yet to hear back from some of the schools I applied to (some are within the top 20 if it matters). I am on my school’s varsity baseball team and because it’s a spring sport, I put on my common app that I was on varsity for 4 years and that I was a top player in grades 11 and 12. However, I am now thinking of not playing this year after a recent falling out with my coach. If I dont play this year and I put that I player 4 yrs, will that result in colleges rescinding my offer of admission? Thanks.
Your application was at a point in time and you stated what you expected to happen at that point. The college will only ask for your transcript at year end, not an accounting of spring ECs. IMO the only way it could possibly matter is you were being recruited as an baseball player and since you did not go ED I’m guessing that isn’t the case.
