WOULD HELP A LOT HERE

I will be transferring from community college to either CSULB, CSUF, CSUN, CPP, CSULA, or CSUSB.

My gpa is 3.1 is that good or bad ?

Will i get accepted to my top three schools (they are CSULB, CSUF, & CSUN) ?

my major is Business Marketing

I will be finishing two associates one is A.A in Admin & Info Systems the second is A.S in Math and Science

I am from the Inland empire (riverside- corona area)

Are you (reading this right now) from out of area (not considered local) and have a gpa close to mine and gotten accepted to any these schools ?

ALSO, does volunteer work look good on a CSU application ? Does volunteer work at a hospital or library look good ?

Hello. I a 3.1 is good enough to get into CSUN if you’re location is considered within their regional as they accept more students who live closer. You can contact the campus to see if Riverside falls in this category for CSUN. As for CSUF and CSULB, it will be hard with a 3.1 as those two are more competitive and because Marketing is usually an impacted major, but you have a chance. CSUs don’t care much about volunteer work; they care about your educational application and if you have all the class requirements.

Update: my gpa is now a 3.4 does that change anything ?
