Would this be considered an EC?

<p>So for the past three summers, I have gone to basically a US government/civics/american history weeklong camp (yes, I know it sounds lame, but it really is a lot of fun and you learn so much ;-) and was wondering if i could consider an EC on my app. The camp had 3-5 hour long classes every day on different aspects of american government, history, and current events as well as several field trips to historic parts of the boston area and the like. The past two camps, I was an ''advanced camper'' as I scored above a 90% on the entrance exam and was one of the top three female camper scorers on the exit exam (out of like 20). anyways, is this an EC and would colleges even care? </p>

<p>Def an EC. On the common app, this is what I would use to write that small paragraph about where it says to describe an EC. Colleges love this kinda stuff because it’s not just a regular summer campa and it shows you did something productive with your summer. Good luck!</p>

<p>Just about anything can be a EC, and so this is too. Colleges tend to be more interested in programs they know. Does the camp have a name??? Mission Statement?</p>
