Because I'm completing 2 years of college while I'm in high school I have to carefully plan the next 2 years out. Would it be dishonest if I report summer classes as fall classes on applications? My school officially reports summer classes as fall classes on the transcript and I'm worried colleges would think I'm lying if I report x number of classes and y classes appear on my midyear report. Particularly if said colleges are really OCD about senior schedule.

Yes, it’s dishonest and confusing. That you’ve completed 2 years of college while in h.s. should be impressive enough for colleges. i doubt they’ll worry about your senior schedule.

I guess I should ask the colleges in question.

They’re going to see your transcripts, you know. Wouldn’t they see when you took those classes? If they see that you lied, you can kiss goodbye any hope of admittance.

I’d be honest if I were you and let the chips fall where they may.

Sorry that it’s late, I’m exhausted, and I didn’t read your op well. Guess they won’t know from your transcripts after all.

Still, I would be honest with them if I were you.

^
I just don’t want them to glance at my midyear report or whatever and be like “He wasn’t completely truthful about his classes.”

Then just be honest. Include an explanation if you feel it’s necessary.

If you have 2 years of college courses, would you still be considered applying as a freshman, or would you be a transfer?
