I know some schools require it, and I also know that UT does not require it. But would it help admission chances if I were to send in a mid year report even though it is after the deadline?

nope

Okay, thank you for the quick response.

If you got your application in before the deadline and you weren’t in the top 10% but you are now…then they will consider that…is that why you are asking?

Actually yeah sort of. My GPA and rank increased. Not in top 10%, but it still increased. I was just wondering if it would hurt anything. I can’t imagine that it would hurt though.

I called UT admissions with this specific question and they said if I were to send it they would not even look at it so don’t waste my time in sending it.
