And it wouldn't make you gay, it would just be you. Your exact mirror image becomes human, and is right in front of you. Would you kiss you? I would!

I wouldn't have any reason to, nor would I ever want to....so no.

lol what? why would anyone want to do that?

I'd high-five myself.

I'd pull a prestige and kill myself. Can't have two evil geniuses running around. -.-;

No way. I'd slap that chica and pull her ponytails. That overconfident, pouty look, ugh.

ah.. no
i'd growl at it until it went away

Crazy, crazy question.

I would try and have a conversation with it... her... me... but um, I wouldn't kiss me. I don't see why I would. I don't think it would even occur to me to do anything like that if my mirror image suddenly came to life in front of me. :p

this begs the queston, if the you were to appear infront of yourself, and it was an exact duplicate with the same history and thoughts and memory, how would you know which you you were.
in other words, how do you know that you're not the you that just appeared infront of yourself (meaning, you're the duplicate, not the original).

...i think this is similiar to a UChi essay prompt from years back...

According to the terminology I used, the mirror image that pops out would be the other you, while the original (you you) would witness the new you come out, thus acknowledging its just another you. You mention same memory, history, thoughts, feelings, other words exact replica; you'd be able to differentiate because you saw it come out. What if the two of you wake up in the morning? Your own brain would still remember the true you. Does this answer your Q.

your own brain??? it's the same brain (hince, EXACT duplicate).

the 'new' you, would also see another one of itself pop out of nowhere, unkowning that it's seeing it from a different perspective. it, too, thinks it's the original, because it has the 'original' memories.

I agree with MBP. The two selves would probably go crazy, unsure if he/she is in fact "real." And I highly doubt that the doubles would just spontaneously start smooching.

no, I didn't mean it in the traditional sense. Exact you when it comes from the mirror, but it would have its own personality perhaps distinct from yours. I said just your "image" you from the mirror, not everything (e.g., faculties, rationale, feelings) along with it too.

oh... well other people started talking about having a conversation with themselves, so i misconstrued what you said.
a mirror image is takes all the fun out of it.
and no, it'd be like kissing your twin.

Ahh, it was fun when it was complicated, lol. It really is a weird thought to see yourself climb out of the mirror though...kind of creepy if you think about it.

that's mildly disturbing...lol

Neverrrrrrrrrrr

I kissed my mirror image once after I proudly achieved something unachievable. lol. But I would never kiss a real live me!
I think I would try to have a conversation with me. Talk about wha's bothering me. That way it wouldn't just be in my head. I would hear it out loud, which is very theraputic, in a creepy kind of way.

I need not to take myself to a darker side than I already am in. :D
