Anyone in the Robotics major or have information they would like to share about the program?

Robotics at WPI is good though I would not rercommend being a Robotics Engineering major. There is a sequence of five required courses that must be taken as a robotics engineering major and other courses may be taken in any department. The courses involve significant theory and design and incorporate software, electrical engineering, and mechanical engineering concepts. Many students enjoy the courses but I find them very disorganized and am not a huge fan of becoming a jack of all trades. There is also fairly extensive rersearch in mechatronics, sensors and control systems, and human robot interaction going on at the WPI campus.
