<p>my reason for choosing D is the following:</p>
<p>A and B are incorrect since its wrong to say “both” before the verb, “received”.</p>
<p>C is wrong because it doesnt successfully answer "popular <em>what</em> ", it just says "received popular, along with critical acclaim, <em>missing</em> "</p>
<p>E is wrong because you dont need the word “also”</p>
<p>and since you didnt post the correct answer, i just googled it to verify and the actual article this question is from appeared haha </p>
