So i took January 2013's SAT and i scored very low (At least from my point of view)

Score breakdown :
Writing : 720 (11 Essay)
Math : 700
Reading : 600
Total : 2020

I was looking for a 2100+, but i think I'm not at that point yet.
I want your advice and tips on how to bring my score up in all three subjects.

In writing i seem to miss those question with tense shifting and tense errors. I only miss an average of 5-3 on the whole test but i want to be as close as possible to a perfect MC score. Were should i study the tense rules from and what do i need to know ?

When it comes to reading i am awful probably because I'm an international (Egyptian) student, but i seem to miss a lot of passage based question (Got a perfect 19 on vocab.), how can i improve myself in those passages ?

Math, what do i have to say about math, i absolutely suck at math. But i practice a lot and i check my mistakes so i think I'll be able to get the perfect 800 next time.

I'm planing on taking the May SAT and I've started prepping already, please give me your advice on how to improve my overall score ...

Thanks :)

You sound like you already know your stuff… You know your weaknesses, and you just have to practice them

For CR, (well you know I suck at CR too… alrights??? don’t judge me! :P) but I think what helped me in essay wise at least this far, is reading a lot or CR psgs… of course I didn’t read a lot AND i didn’t get the perfect 19 on vocab… hence my score… but I find that doing as many practice tests and correcting them would improve your CR.

As a matter of fact, I want to do that too and need encouragement… so how about we both read a CR psg daily and discuss our mistakes in its questions and all that??!

As for writing, I would again go with the practice… You just need that… You might wanna check in Barron’s for your prob with tenses or just post here the questions you don’t get… you’ll get loads of help hopefully… :P

And math! well, I’d share with you my story with Math like I do with anyone who posts about wanting to improve in Math… but it won’t be of much help for you since you are already on track and with some more prac, you ace this thing… they were probably silly mistakes, so again, practice… :P

After a 2000+, my advice is you practice, practice, and more practice!
SAT only comes with practice…
Hope that helps! And wish I improve my CR too next time! XD
Cheers. :)
