Writing section help!

The answer choice - 'there is no error' always throws me off a lot and probably has lowered by score by about a 100. right now during practice tests i simply ignore that answer and my score has gone up a lot.

is that a good idea? do you have any tricks you want to share.

I'm a college freshman and took the new SAT twice. Only one or two of those "what's wrong with this statement?" questions is going to actually be "no error". I would say you have the right idea.

most of the points I miss on that part of the writing section are from "finding mistakes" in questions that should be no error. I wouldn't totally ignore the option, but be carefull with it.

you will get around 5 no errors.....
