Wrong biology test scored

I test for biology-m . My scores came out biology-e. Did anyone go through this problem? How was it solved?

I would say that you need to research how to contact Collegeboard properly to correct the problem and possibly get it handscored. Are you sure that indicated the right section when you bubbled in your choice on the answer sheet? I don't know if the Collegeboard is going to do anything about it if you indicated that you were taking the E section.

is there a way to get the biology set re-scanned electronically and not hand-scored?

No, it will have to be hand scored. Usually, it is because you bubbled in the "E" code instead of the "M" code when you took the test.

if i do get the 20 questions on the "M" part correct, about how much of an increase is it? in other words, is it really worth it?

definately

My son had this same experience. We requested hand re-scoring, which the College Board did. No cost to us (we would have had to pay if there were no mistakes). Not surprisingly, his score jumped considerably when his bio-M was actually scored as bio-M and not bio-E.

xcfan, how did you get the college board to rescore the test with "no cost"???

does anyone know how much of an increase are 20 questions correct in the biology test worth in actual numbers?

If your test was scored incorrectly, CB will refund the fee.
20 questions are worth about 150-200 points.

It would DEFINITELY be worth your while to have it checked out

sounds that so many people are bubbling in the wrong test part in biology. why does the college board do that to students? isn't enough we come into the test all worried and tense?
we don't need this confusion and delay of scores for hand-scoring! why can't the biology test be one part lke all other test?
