<p>I accidentally just made a credit card payment to a college but only after seeing the receipt did I realize I didn't change the expiration date from the default "12/10". The college accepted the payment, but will they accept my application when the card bounces back?</p>
<p>What to do?</p>
<p>It will probably bounce back after processing. I could be wrong, so perhaps you should submit a help ticket (upper right corner of every page on the Common App). Be aware that the Common App staff is probably swamped with help requests, so they might not get back to you right away.</p>
<p>I’m sure your school will still take the app if the payment is denied.</p>
<p>Hey thanks for the advice Dean J. I just had my dad call the credit card company to tell them to let it go through. </p>
<p>I’d suggest that solution to anybody else.</p>
