Yo, check it, i've been going to an all boy school since sixth grade. So i could care less what the girls look like. My standards are, less just say not very high. That doesn't mean i will be macking on all the fat chicks. But let's just say girls are gilrs. I warning to all the parents, your daughters are not safe. lol

I hate knowing that even after all the fighting for equal treatment and opportunities for women ( acceptance into selective schools, being trained for and achieving professional careers being just a couple of the benefits you women of WUSTL -09 have and may recieve through those fights) physical attributes are still a primary consideration in how valuable a woman is.

Hello, you must not be familar with our planet. I am a human from earth. This planet is run by the male gender. Men are attracted to hot girls. Enjoy your stay on our planet.

And BTW, there is a correlation between attractiveness and intelligence. Not a genetic link. But, I think the more attractive girls are usually more social and tend to slack on school work, while those who are less attractive don't have such distractions. There are plenty of ugly stupid girls, and smart pretty ones, but on average, there aren't many "knockouts" in the top 5 percent of their HS class.

"I have to interrupt this argument right there and say that girls who are more focused on school and who work hard enough to get into the nation's most selective colleges are less likely to worry about their looks as much. Just a thought."

MAYBE, but I don't like girls with a lot of make-up anyway. :P

Wow! And how is that going? Any problems you want to take a look at? Do you want to ask for directions? LOL Wouldn't it be nice if it were "run by" everyone that actually lives 'on the planet'?

The people, not just girls, at WashU and Emory are very handsome. When I went to Emory, I had difficulty spotting ugly people. The people looked just as good as the campus.

Mike 123...why not leave this planet and go to the planet of Barbie & Ken

some people find it sad for teenagers to argue about colleges in online forums... i find it sad for moms to argue with teenagers about colleges in online forums

Not arguing any more- promise. Remembering. Yeah - the pursuit is so much a part of living and enjoying life. 26 years after pursuing my husband in college he still makes my heart jump when I spot him across a room. His hair is thinner, the waist not as trim but his heart and soul- still gorgeous. Just a Mom wanting all of you to have the best relationships you can have.

GO. SEEK. FIND. :)

dude BananaPeel, show a lil respect.

watch out coptermom, after a few wild weekends at WashU, you'll probably be coptergrandma.

GO. SEEK. FIND. IMPREGNATE!

i'm still wondering about the wustl guys...

transitorydaze:

A popular series of college guides gave WUSTL a C+ for girls and a B for guys.

For explanations, either buy the WUSTL book or search it on Amazon.

Wow, if this is how the Wash U guys are going to act... It might be a long four years.

iwannabe_Brown:

That's the site I was linking to. It's the first hit on my google search.

Be a little more discreet-- the mods will ban you for mentioning "competing websites." CP isn't even a competitor though; they sell freaking books. Seeing as how CC recommends books on their homepage, I don't understand the opposition.

wait, CC blocks links to threads about the college process. That's hilarious. and kinda sad actually.

hrsraddish:

Here's the UMich application. Fill out your transfer app and your time at WashU will be a lot shorter.

I have a bunch of friends at wash u many of whom are girls. I've been to Wash U a few times to visit and I must say the girls there, including all of my friends, are hot hot hot. Trust me on this.. im an artificial type of person so I would be the first to admit if they werent. They are definitely hotter than the girls at Franklin and Marshall College which is where I go. They are just hot in general.

I'm a girl and I think this is a perfectly natural thread. To the moms: The first factor in finding someone you can have a meaningful relationship with is physical attraction - then you look for depth. It's a fact. Besides, while there is usually a general standard for beauty, when looking for what they think is "hot" a lot of people have different opinions.

My only issue is this whole "smart girls aren't as hot" idea. FYI - the last 3 valedictorians of my school were all girls, all went to Ivy League schools, and were models. Just a thought.

So far from the other kids I've met in the class of '09, I've noticed, generally, the girls are a lot more attractive than the boys. I think those of us looking for hot guys have a bit more to worry about...

:D

From what I hear about Wash U, no one really needs to worry though - everyone is hot when you are otherwise "impaired"...

I agree with sarasvati. After all, many people do find their mates in college. The first thing that people usually notice when finding a mate is physical beauty.

everybody needs to calm down.

it's a medium sized college. a lot of kids go there. there will be enough good looking people to go around. it's not as if you're going to not have any romantic relationships because every single girl is hideous. so don't worry about it.

also, if you look on the myspace group page for washu 2009, you'll see a whole boatload of attractive girls. exciting.

if you want to talk attractive girl populations on a college campus, check out tulane. i stayed a night there and whoooo boy, every girl i saw was gorgeous.
